Frank Pouwer Reclaimed wood is located in a former brick factory near the Rhine river. The recycling of hardwood is one of our core activities. We have a large supply of reclaimed maritime construction materials such as:

- Azobé sheet piling
- Azobé beams
- Mooring posts in several hardwood types

By creating your maritime construction project using reclaimed wood you operate environmentally safe by re-using trees which were already cut.

From the Coen port in Amsterdam, maritime construction materials are transported to the yard in Doorwerth by truck. In the future, Frank Pouwer is looking to use waterways instead, in order to limit the emission emitted by trucks. When this is realised, the wood can be transported to a construction site in the water directly, ready to be used.

We supply both consumers and businesses as well as the public sector. Examples are the Dutch Department of Public Works (Rijkswaterstaat), Dutch water authorities (Waterschappen) and Provinces. Mainly within the public sector there is a growing demand for sustainable and recycled hardwood. Recycled hardwood offers many advantages regarding environmental awareness and social responsibility.

At request we can offer our sheet piling and mooring posts with a 100% FSC Recycled certificate.
