WINTER WOOD SALES

On December 27th, the lumberyard transforms into an atmospheric winter event filled with music, crafts, and inspiration.

Visitors can expect:

• Wood workshops for children
• Demonstration by De Bijzondere Tafel
• Delicious snacks & drinks
• Spectacular discounts of up to 50% on selected items.

Therefore, Saturday, December 27th is ideal as a “third Christmas day”: a relaxing outing, full of inspiration and a chance of winning great prizes. It is also the perfect time to find the most beautiful wood for new projects at a friendly price.

Every customer receives a ticket for our December lottery. Moreover, every 10th customer goes home with a Veld & Beek package worth €75.

End-of-year lottery

This year there is a special lottery with wonderful prizes:

First prize

A complete workshop and creation process “Making your own table” worth €2,500, including the table that the winner makes themselves.

Second prize

Design and wood for a tree house or garden house
worth €1,250.

The draw will take place during the Winter Wood Sales event at the end of the day.

Make a day of it in Doorwerth

The lumberyard is in a unique location along the Rhine, in the middle of the wooded landscape of Doorwerth. Combine the visit with:
• a walk in nature,
• a visit to Doorwerth Castle with lunch, or
• the Airborne Museum just five kilometers away.

Adjusted opening hours

The opening hours in December and January are tailored to you as much as possible. These are as follows:

• Mondays and Sundays: closed
• Tuesday, December 23rd: 08:00-17:00 hours. (without appointment)
• Wednesday, December 24th: 08-00-13:00 hours. (without appointment)
• Thursday, December 25th: Christmas Day – Closed
• Friday, December 26th: Boxing Day – Closed
• Saturday, December 27th: 08:00-16:00 hours. WINTER WOOD SALES!
• Tuesday, December 30th to Thursday, January 1st: Closed

For the other days, the regular opening hours apply.
