We have various batches of planed and kiln-dried oak planks in stock. The solid oak planks are approximately 3 cm thick and available in various widths and long lengths. Thanks to the smooth-planed surface, the natural wood grain, and the generous dimensions, these planks are suitable for tables, furniture, wall cladding, and other interior projects.

The oak wood is kiln-dried. During this process, the moisture content of the wood is reduced in a controlled manner. This makes the planks a suitable base for use in furniture, interior construction, and other indoor applications.

Oak remains a natural product and can continue to move under the influence of temperature and humidity. Proper processing, construction, and finishing are therefore important.

Planed oak planks

The oak planks are smooth-planed to a thickness of approximately 3 cm. The planing process clearly highlights the natural wood grain and gives the surface a refined and serene appearance.

Knots, color nuances, small cracks, and other natural characteristics may remain visible. These properties are inherent to solid oak and contribute to the character of the planks.

Finishing oak planks

The oak planks can be used untreated or finished with, for example, oil, soap, or lacquer. A treatment protects the surface against moisture and dirt and can further deepen the color and natural wood grain.

The chosen finish has a significant influence on the final color and appearance. Therefore, always test a finishing product first on a piece of scrap wood or a less visible part of the plank.

Buying oak planks

The price of the oak planks depends on the chosen batch, length, width, quality, and appearance. Wide planks and long lengths are relatively scarcer and may therefore be priced differently.
