These sleepers are free of creosote or other chemicals.
Questions about Oak track boards?
Whatsapp usWhat are track boards? Old oak train sleepers are cut into planks after drying: railroad planks.
So our wood collection contains wood from train sleepers, as well as wood that has been under the trains.
Railroad sleepers have sometimes had to endure extreme (weather) conditions, which is easy to see when they arrive at our premises.
Through sawing and planing, however, we know how to give this wood new life.
The result; characteristic French oak rail planks with a tough character that, thanks to their advanced age, do not work much anymore.
A particularly pleasant feature if you are planning, for example, to make a wall shelf, table or other piece of furniture.
In our warehouse the planks are neatly sorted by size and appearance, where you can view and select them at your leisure.
Moreover, you can take the planks directly home with you as we always have the wood in stock.
