This project involved the transformation of a former gymnasium, under the supervision of interior designer Robbert de Goede. The property is located in the historic heart of Amsterdam, into a bright and spacious family home with the perfect balance of openness and intimacy. Introducing different levels created a dynamic interaction between spaces, creating a unique living environment.
When choosing materials, a harmonious mix of used and high-quality elements was carefully sought. Frank Pouwer, with our expertise, contributed in selecting the oak, particularly for the imposing standing columns that adorn the rooms.
This impressive transformation caught the attention of several renowned interior design platforms and was met with praise. In addition, the project was selected as one of the top five finalists in the “Apartment Interior of the Year 2020” category at the Dezeen Awards, a prestigious recognition in the design world.
A great result Robbert de Goede and we are proud to have done our part!
